Just in time for the new year, the all-new MACSABibleQuizzing.com is beginning a week-long roll-out, as the new site, equipped with new features and designed for a long-term run, makes its official debut. Originally slated to be released in early October, the launch was delayed several times as new functionality and additional features were added to the site. Instead, the new site is making it's debut just in time for the new 2012 season of MACSA Bible Quizzing which gets underway in just 15 days with the Cumberland Invitational in Vineland, NJ.

Chief among the changes to the site is, quite obviously, a brand-new look for MACSABibleQuizzing.com. The re-organization of the site's layout gives prominent positioning to the various quiz-a-thons held throughout the season, as these have been moved to the primary navigation bar. The website has taken on a two-fold identity, with the general functions of the site included in the "Home" section (represented by the house icon) and the detailed quiz-a-thon subsites providing comprehensive coverage of each event, from the pre-season Invitational all the way through the season-ending Quiz Retreat. Much of the sites content remains the same, but the re-organized layout makes it easier to navigate the new site, and during the various quiz-a-thons makes following your favorite teams, divisions, standings, and playoff brackets all the easier.

And while it won't be active for the 2012 season, or even possibly the 2013 season, the biggest non-visible addition to MACSABibleQuizzing.com was the laying of the framework for a future live-scoring system at the various quiz-a-thons. With MACSA Quizzing having undergone a virtual technological transformation in just the last decade, this next step is closer than many realize. Considering the first-ever appearance of a computer as the center of the quizzing score system occured in 1999, the relaunch of MACSABibleQuizzing.com in 2011 and the imminent arrival of a live-scoring system show how far the advances on the technological side have come.

And with MACSA Bible Quizzing anticipating a third-straight season of over 100 quiz teams, MACSABibleQuizzing.com stands ready to power yet another season of quizzing action and fellowship.
