Each season of MACSA Bible Quizzing concludes with the annual 2-day Quiz Retreat. Following the last regular-season event, teams are ranked based on their combined results at the two quiz-a-thons and the regional at which they participate. Using these rankings, the teams are split into divisions against other teams that have had similar results throughout the season. At the Quiz Retreat both Junior High divisions merge to create the tiered divisions while Senior High continues to compete independently. Each retreat division crowns its own champion on the second day of competition, with all teams advancing to their division's respective playoff brackets.
